New job update

     New job is going well. Second day of operator training. Learning the machines more. Every machine runs a little bit different. They all have their own little tricks to keeping them running smoothly. It is amazing how many moving parts they have. A lot of roller bars that the lines of plastic run through. They have to be threaded through just right for them to run properly. The weights, lengths and widths of each bag have to be within specs and the slightest adjustment to the machines can affect them drastically.
     It is a very interesting field of production. To see how trash bags are made. How far man has come in the age of industry.

Update

     New job is going well. Finished my packer training last week (putting trash bags in boxes). I work for a company that manufactures trash bags. It is quite the process. Everything is controlled and monitored by computers. The plastic is melted and then inflated in a long balloon that goes 40 feet straight up. Blown plastics. Very interesting. This week I started my training as an operator of these machines. Very cool that I get to learn how they work. One more field of production that I have become knowledgeable of.
     Yet, this is only a stepping stone. We still plan on finding ourselves on the road in the next five years. Exploring the world on a life of adventure. We need your help to make this dream come true. Everyday we list new items online with Amazon, ebay and Bonanza.

Just checking in

     How is everyone doing today? I'm doing pretty good. Finished my packer training at my new job with Pitt Plastics with top marks. Moving on to operator training and my regular hours next week. Looking forward to learning the operations of the machines and how to keep them running at peek performance.

     Well,,, sorry I haven't posted a blog in a few days. Started a new day job, gotta have something to bring in enough money to pay the bills.             October is Breast cancer awareness month. These are but a few of the symptoms that may indicate breast cancer in an individual.




      It is probably a safe bet to say that there are not many people out there that have not been affected by cancer in one way or another. My wife and I both have close family members that have had breast cancer.       Greetings, I thought I would make a post about the places we have traveled.

     We have been to four different states.  Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri.
      Towns we have visited in each state:

      Kansas :  Pittsburg, Columbus, Weir, West Mineral, Frontenac, Chanute, Emporia, Burlingame,
      Yate Center, Girard, Scammon,
     
     Oklahoma :  Oklahoma City, Guthrie, and all the towns from Pittsburg, to Guthrie

     Arkansas :  Bentonville

     Missouri :  Webb City and Joplin

     
     I would love our next state to be Colorado.

Our Product Line

     Today we will be working on some t-shirt designs. Aside from the many products we have listed on Amazon and ebay, we also create our own items. T-shirts, coffee mugs, key-chains, dog tags and many other items. Below are a couple examples of our t-shirts and other products.

International

     Today, we go international. Once we cover North America and have felt that we have covered all the places that we want, and need, to visit, we will take the Seekers overseas. Hit the European sites that we would like to visit. Greenland and Iceland are not that far of a jump from the coast of Newfoundland or Canada. Taking a ferry or ship with our remodeled bus from there to Europe seems an easily plausible feat to accomplish, or crossing the Bering Strait from Alaska into Europe. One day we will get there. When we do, there are so many more places to explore.
